I love and hate this

Christmas is such a happy time, you get to see all of your family and friends and engage in the making merry, but this Christmas has brought upon a host of realizations. Do you ever stop to think that the people you are with won't be with you next Christmas? What brought this on is that my granparents' health is failing, quickly. For the past 19 years, every Christmas, my grandma has told me "I think this will be our last Christmas" and unfortunately I have this awful feeling, that this year, she's going to be right. It's not so much that they have cancer or anything, they're just withering away very slowly. Grandpa told the same story four times in as many minutes today, and you can't do anything but smile and listen. My grandma has trouble recognizing her own kids. You so easily take your family for granted only to have them taken away before you realize what happened. I just want to break down and cry. They say that new life will carry on, and I see my nephews and almost agree, then I look at my grandparents and know nothing could ever replace them. I mean, how many people saw the flag raised on Iwo Jima? In fact, how many people even remember Iwo Jima? How many Americans raise six children in a two bedroom home while the husbands fighting in the biggest war known to man kind? How many 94 year old women do you know that kneel by their bed every night and morning to say their prayers and pray rosaries to pass the endless days. Things like that can't be replaced, and probably won't be remembered. In light of all this I'm going to try and spend as much time as possible with my grandparents, I might try and record my grandfather's war stories, it might make interesting for other people as well. So please pray for me and my grandparents. It's going to be very tough in the coming months and any support from everyone will be greatly appreciated. And most of all don't take anything or anyone for granted, this might be the last Christmas you celebrate with them, forever.

Christmas is coming! And also random creative spurts.

Christmas is like 4 days away! Yay! So I went to lunch today with a friend from work, her husband, and said husbands mother. It was a very lovely time. She completely surprised me with an awesome handmade gift! It's a cool collage of AFI oriented materials complete with many Davey pics! It really made my day. In return I made her something of the same sorts, I used a photo that I took for a photography class and using various programs ghosted on lyrics to an AFI song and some other things. I'll put it up here once I get it to her. Also, I recently joined the online community for Resistance:Fall of Man, which in itself is a ridiculously addictive and epic game. Being bored after joining I decided to throw a pic together for my sig on there, I took a pic of everyones favorite demon badass Sesshomaru and put my favorite quote of his on it. I left the link to the original picture maker for obvious reasons. But here ya go:
Note: Never watch the show Sealab 2021, its more overly opinionated non-entertaining garbage.
NoteX2: WOW I AM BEHIND ON STRONGBAD EMAILS.

More! Gimme More!

At risk of sounding like a certain post-success attention and food(baby) hungry washed out pop-diva allow me to explain. I'm going to keep an Amazon wishlist along with my do want list. This is more to keep track of what I'm getting for myself. Not for Christmas. This is a more permanent desire list. Yea, so keep track, or don't it's up to you. If I suddenly remove it then I've got it. Or something to that effect. This show likes to reference private areas' body hair. How bizarre.

FINISH HIM!

There are rumblings deep in the netherrealm. Work has begun on Mortal Kombat 8. Full next gen. Some interesting aspects is everything from the previous MK's are gone. They are kompletely starting over. From what I can tell none of the old kharacters will even be in the games. Sad. But perhaps needed. The most interesting fact however is that Ed Boon (MK's kreator) is going for a "Gears of War" look and feel. Could be interesting. Also: " "Our visual presentation and our game presentation and our thing that you’ll hear about very soon are all going to be new to this game." Um, what exactly is "our thing that you'll hear about very soon" ? Kuriosity=piqued. Here's the info I found.

*Note*- If this game is'nt on PS3 someone over at midway will suffer the konsequences. Shouldn't be a problem though as the old MK's are on the PSN's store for download.

Well, after that violent outburst I'm sure I probably turned what few readers I had away. OH WELL! I am soooo excited for Christmas! We had the first snow last night, it was nice, I spent most of the evening sitting by the window and watching the snow and listening to light classical music. It was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it to anyone. What was equally fun is watching the stupid people who don't know how to drive fishtail and spin out in the parking lot. One guy in a mini-truck, MINITRUCKS SUCK, ahem, anyway he decided to peel out of the parking lot onto the main road and subsequently entered the busy street sideways. Sheer brilliance on his part. Not. One guy in a BMW literally did a full 360 in the parking lot, I couldn't tell if he was doing it on purpose or not, I'm sure the rear-wheel drive probably made for an interesting experience. I've also found a nice little coffee shop on the square down here that has pretty good hot chocolate, yum.

Also this was on tv, its still great:

If it seems too good to be true, it is

I thought these last two weeks would be easy to pass. Ha. Something that I thought was good turned out to not turn out at all. I'm not comfortable discussing it on here so IM me if you are curious. Do you ever stop to think about why life never turns out the way you had ever hoped. I just want to live a nice comfortable life. Alone or with someone, I couldn't care less. I just think it would be nice to have the freedom to do absolutely nothing with my life and be able to still go and buy things and do the things i want. GRAH! I'm irritated. Politics are gay in any context. FUCK. I hate things. Okay. Back to my train of thought. This isn't of course to say that I wouldn't do anything, obviously I would just be happy to do whatever. I think people think that I want money to do stuff for myself, the fact is that I want it to live comfortably and be happy, and for me to be happy is to help make my friends and family happy. Sweet God in heaven I AM SURROUNDED BY FUCKING MORONS. ONCE AGAIN PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP THEIR DAMN FUCKING MALFORMED OPINIONS TO THEMSELVES. I HATE PEOPLE. STUPID PEOPLE NEED TO REDEEM THEMSELVES AND DIE.

Can I get that 6-pound nugget?

Yeah so not going to Japan anymore. It was my own decision. It was far too close to our already planned Montreal trip to make it logistically possible. Shit costs too much moneys. I'm bored outta my freakin mind in class right now. At least a certain person in class has learned to keep his malformed opinions to himself. Who wears berets anyway. yeah. Also. I want to climb Mount Everest. That would be sweet. I wish I had moneys. Lots of moneys, because apparently just to register with a climb of said mountain is 50K. I've been looking into internships with SpeedTv (C.o. Fox) and with Ferrari. Either would be sweet. I've also found a bitchin techno version of "O Fortuna" which is from the (satanic?) opera Carmin Burina.
I've also discovered why the Golden Compass is causing such a stink in certain religious communities, it's because at the end of the books on which they are based, they manage to kill God. Well that is pretty shifty. And not-entirely sensical. God, when taken in an atheist context which itself is more-then-likely based on the strictest evangelical context, should be all powerful and immortal. However I do believe this context may be more of the vindictive sort and thus killing God would not require utmost logical reasoning. Also the God we believe in is eternal, omniscient, and omnipotent, and thus is quite incapable of being killed (saving of course the time which He allowed Himself to be so after entering the mortal realm) so is the god in the movie the same God which we know and love? I find it difficult to believe that but I should read the books before making any further conjecture.
Here's the aforementioned bitchin techno song.

A Stream of Consciousness

What is love? Seriously. I can't remember. Well I think I don't. I've been thinking, what if I've been living my love life (well lack thereof) through other means of conveyance? I mean, a LOT of the movies I've been watching and enjoying have become increasingly more emotionally involved and love oriented. Maybe I'm living all of my dreams and goals through other means of conveyance outside of my own life. A sad thought. Wow this is a weird stream of thoughts. Consider the stream interrupted. Grr. Random guy just came in and for some reason I can't blog whilst someone watchin. Anyway back to business. What is it about humans that draw a man and a woman together? And why has said phenomena passed me while everyone around me is lost in the tide of it?
Gosh this whole idea is stupid. I refuse to let myself become subordinate to someone else. But for some reason the need is there for that to happen. But I have no desire to go and try and make it happen. Well shit. Life is a whole big piece of poop in the backed up toilet that is the universe. So for now, until something happens to convince me otherwise, I don't believe in love and it seems I never will.

I Has Teh Sickness

And man does it suck. My nose is all stuffed up or running down my face. For some reason I feel compelled to write. Maybe its all the cold medication. W.e. Question of teh day, Why do I not have a significant other? Is there someone out there for me? Is there? Will they find me or will I find them? This is all weird. Everybody seems so happy and content with their relationship statuses. There are times when I am quite content being single, but now is one of those times where I am not. I really could use a good massage. Hopefully there IS somebody out there. They would just have to respect my independence.
On a lighter and not as intrinsically deep note, I may be going to Japan this coming may. That'd be a good birthday present methinks. It'd be free anyway. From what I can tell we'd be spending most of the time in southern Japan, hopefully I will get to see the modern megalopolis known as Tokyo. Well, Here's how it works. Theres a thing that goes through something called Asianetwork. What I have to do is decide what to research, something that would actually require going to Japan, then submit my proposal to the Asianetwork and then, if things fall into place in my favor, they pay for my trip. W00t. Anywho, I decided I want to study something where I get to go into all of the old temples and shrines. I'm leaning toward an architecture concentration? Any suggestions?

Tornadoes and Yellow-Bellied Canines

Ooh Playstation just emailed me! Anyway sorry for the random moment. The weather has been spastic here, it was sunny all day, which is why the tornado watch was confusing. Apparantly just an hour or two ago there was a tornado touchdown in Tuscola and several funnels in Ashmore (about 10mins away), the intense nighttime lightning was pretty though. Also I've decided that courage the cowardly dog was much better before the dog starting talking to the camera. However I do enjoy the show. Now to see what playstation wants, hmm, just advertising for folklore. That looks like a strange game indeed.

The Slow Death of an Icon

It's hard to believe, but a shadow is coming over the sports-car world, the light of an icon in the world of true sports cars is about to be snuffed out; Honda is about to put the S2000 to rest. Let's take a moment to remember this great.
When this little beauty first debuted it was reputed to be better then the Porsche Boxster and BMW Z3/4, and the kicker was it was 15-20grand less then either. However time wore on the Boxster and the Bimmer became more powerful and left the little S2000 behind. The Honda stayed true to it's roots however and did what it did best, provide ultimate enjoyment for the driver. The S2000 was light, moderately powerful, handled like a true sports car with no traction control or stability management (at least until later), Car and Driver still argues it has the world's best manual transmission, saying once you hit the throttle you were Michael Schumacher blasting down the tunnel in Monte Carlo . However slowly the lesser sports cars have caught up to the great, the Miata MX-5 is threatening this inexpensive sports car's reign. The S2000 can no longer compete with the now much more powerful German cars that it defeated before. In order to buy the car another year or two, Honda released the S2000-CR (or Club Racer), it has a stiffer suspension, new aerodynamics, weight reduction, and is more racy in general, it's the blue one with the big spoiler in the picture above. The nails in the coffin are going in as Honda's been asking college students for new designs on the model, none of which are particularly appealing. With the death of the revered Honda/Acura NSX came mourning but its coming replacement is said to have a freakin V10, if Honda can get 240HP out of a four-cylinder, imagine what they'll do with 6 more pistons. Only time will tell the future this masterpiece of engineering. If you can get your hands on one, do it, because this is bound to become collectible with each one assembled by hand in Japan; in 50 years you could be sitting on a mint.

My Near Death Experience

As you probably know, I am coming to you now from this, my Alienware M5550. As you probably also know, I value this thing more then life and playstation itself. So here's the story, last night as I was typing a paper I reached up to pull down the USB cable, with said cable a mostly empty can of Code Red came plummeting down with it, promptly landing on my keyboard..upside down. So I grabbed a towel and soaked up as much as possible, believing I got most of it, crisis averted. Right? Wrong. As I continued typing I hit enter to start a new paragraph which every time I did, the letter N popped up, then it started capitalizing. Making sure the "NumLock" wasn't on I started to freak, then all of the buttons to the right of the M,K,O,0 line started acting up. So naturally I was flippin out so I turned off the comp, took off all of the keys to the right of the aforementioned, went over them again with a moist towel, and then again with the compressed air. After this was finished I turned the computer back on, and as I typed in my password to get in for every one letter hit 3 letter dots came up. So I hit backspace to delete them and 5 letters came up. I really started melting down so I just turned off the computer for the night and watched InuYasha. This morning though it's all working fine. Thank God. That was a close one.

Les is More

It's times like this I wish I had a lot of money, with which I would buy my Gibson Les Paul Studio. And a Marshall 1/2Stack. I can't decide whether I want a black with gold pick ups or white w. gold pick ups. White is pretty but the black is classic. However, if I had $1200 to spend on a guitar, it would probably mean I would have a lot of cooler stuff lying around. I'm tired of class already. This isn't a good sign. At least tomorrow I can go hiking. Someone entertain me. Here, which do you think? \/\/\/

First of all, it's cretin

Some people are just rude. This guy, whose name won't be mentioned on here, decided to call me a "dick" and "nob" for my beliefs that McLaren should be punished for their cheating ways. Thankfully they have been fined 100 million dollars. Woot. Oh and they are kicked out of the world championship, drivers excluded. Anyway, the guy who thinks he's doing the world some kind of favor by telling me off, doesn't even spell noob correctly, if your going to insult me at least do it correctly. However his obtuse nature couldn't detract from the awesomeness of the McLaren penalty, this means Ferrari is gonna win, "naa naa na boo boo". I have no idea if thats actually spelled the way it supposed to sound (grade school taunting). So, to further ratify my case, and piss this guy off more, I'm putting up pics I made when I was bored and upset about McLaren cheating.

Sick Of It All

Not referring to the band that makes poor attempts to sing. I'm just sick of being at this perpetually stagnated place in my life. I don't know why I hate socializing so much, at least in big groups of people I don't know. It's probably because people annoy me. Big social environments just make me uncomfortable, so how am I supposed to enjoy myself when I'm hating the situation at the same time? It's really gay. I hate being single too. But also I hate the idea of tethering myself to someone, for whatever reason it feels like the idea of being in a relationship will hold me back, like a ball and chain. I'm just too independent. I hate being single and I hate the idea of not being single. I'm stuck here really. Shit. Oh well if something happens it happens i guess. I suppose I should go find myself a deserted Caribbean island and live out the remainder of my days there alone, maybe with my dogs, counting the endless waves in the sea as the sun slowly sets on the horizon. A really beautiful image there. If anyone has any relationship advice for a guy who looks like a troll who crawled out of the nearest cave. please. I'd appreciate it.

Move It Over Mini!!!

Yay! I finally get to do a car review, and let me just say, I am SO stoked about this one guys! So here it comes, brace yourself in your seats. Ok so if you've seen the movie Cars (if you haven't go do it now!), you may remember a peppy little Italian car named Luigi (he all about 'da Ferraris). Well Luigi is in fact a Fiat 500, granted an older model, think 1960's and 70's. Anyway it's a cool little model and one of Fiat's most celebrated cars. It really was one of the first micro cars, so small it could pull in sideways in a parallel parking spot and not stick out. However all great things come to an end. So I've provided a collage for you to admire a retired great.
However, if some great things do end, and it's name venerated, why not make something to honor it's memory? Well that's why I give you, with massive anticipation, the NEW FIAT 500!! YAY! It's so amazing, I am so impressed with Fiat's ability to make it gloriously new age, but still hearkens back to the great original. Fiat is calling it the Ipod of cars, a small convenient automobile for the future. It's so great looking, it has a futuristic sleek look, but still a delightfully retro feel. Notice the glass roof! Very new age! Fiat has said it will consider selling it here in the good ol' USA, but they want to see how Alfa-Romeo goes first (returning in 2009 after a 20+ year absence, keep an eye out). So let's hope and pray that Alfa won't be the only Italian marque coming back to the United States in the next few years!

What is it about storms? Theres just something so cathartic about them. It's so easy to get lost in the turmoil. The day may start sunny, but when those black clouds roll in, you better get indoors. The day goes dark and the sky swirls in a blackened turmoil. The rain pours over everything, dousing it with a needed release. The lightning crashes, as if the sky itself is exacting vengeance upon parched, baked earth. Thunder rolling s hatters the peaceful summer calm with the anger of the heavens which once again make their power known, lest we forget the might. Then it all goes calm, as quickly as it came. The sky lightens, the rain slows, and all we're left with is some puddles, and a lasting clean to make new the the parched and dead earth. I love it.

Test-Drive This American Male

Wow. Once again, I go into a musical-movie skeptical, then I come out singing. First Phantom, now Hairspray. Although more then likely, Phantom will still be my #1, Hairspray is just so damn good! Where Phantom leaves you kinda sad Hairspray leaves you walkin' on air. Granted Phantom's plot is much deeper, but this movies just a fun time. Actually this movie made me regret not taking part in any of the musicals all my friends were in during high-school. My singing isn't great, but maybe I'll rectify that through voice lessons @ eiu. Hmm, now thats a thought. Anyway, if you haven't seen this movie yet, well you should, immediately. Then go out and buy the soundtrack. Then I find it best to proceed to lock yourself in your room and burst into song and dance. It's great fun.

OH BTW: Blaqk Audio's cd called CexCells comes out today! Go buy it! It's gonna be awesome!

Finally

After much ado, I am finally an owner of the Playstation 3. It's pretty much amazing. The graphics are out of this world, while the only game that makes full use of that thus far is F1 (not that I'm complaining), the others are standard next-gen. F1 however just looks like it does like your watching the real thing on tv. I've seen previews for Gran Turismo 5. Can't wait. Looks ridiculously pretty.

Politics are Rediculous

What's the point of them anyway? I mean the people in the field are just a bunch of professional liars, the kind I don't respect. I prefer to stay uninvolved. I mean why would you want to get into a field or follow one where people just fling poo at each other, metaphorically (as of this point, it's not too far off I'm sure), plus it's not like politicians stand for anything anymore. The only thing they care about is the size of their wallets, they are going to support whatever supports their over-laden, imported pocketbooks. All congress is good for is a good laugh at this point, they can't get anything together and going in the way of useful legislation. They'd rather just sit there and get paid to do nothing except call each other names and argue, also very resemblant of the supreme court. All of this points to the fact that politics are nothing more then a bunch of people who we pay (for a reason unbeknown to me) to fling mud at each other. So in summation, a wise man once said, "If we stop voting, will they go away?"
P.S.- Now don't get me wrong, I do believe democracy can work, it just isn't at this point and we need something to shake and wake America up.
P.P.S.- Also, I do love the capitol building, it's very pretty.
P.P.P.S- I realize that this particular post is rather political, albeit anti-political, unfortunately the paradox is inseparable. So don't start shouting hypocrite or anything in those lines, or I will be forced to become cross.

Theives, Beggars, Musicians, Never Shall We Die!

Finally. I finished the Sea Munkeez logo. Took forever. I first drew it out on paper with pencil. Then went over major details with a perm. marker. I then proceeded to scan it and fill in everything with paint. Not bad for a first try, eh? I think it's pretty sweet. I hope the guys like it. I based the logo off of a real Caribbean pirate flag then supplanted the monkey skull instead of the regular bandanna and eye-patched human one. I got the monkey skull shape from just that, just off of the net. My next project is to work on some album art, basing off of the opening scene of POTC1. It will be my first attempt at multi-layering in art media. Hopefully it will work. Feedback would be great!

The Jolly Roger's Gone to the Munkeez

I have been so busybusy. My gosh. I can't hardly stand it. I was just told I work 9-5 everyday next week. Wow. That PS3 is inching ever closer. Also, since being back from the Summerfest show I have been completely exhausted. Whether it be from heat exhaustion or little sleep, I'm still feeling it. I have no energy whatsoever. It sucks especially since some friends of mine consigned me to design a logo for their band "Revenge of the Sea Munkeez." They asked for something involving the obviously called for monkey, or munkee rather, and for something making it look sea-worthy. I'm working on some skull and crossbone designs, plus more colorful things for album art perhaps? Anyway I'm pooped so I'm gonna go work on that. So I leave you with a picture of the hottest girl ever.
P.S. - She would make the perfect Lust in a live-action FMA movie, no?

I fail at travel blogging and fell for an Italian

As you may have noticed, I didn't get to do the full grand prix blog. I was swamped with the 97degree weather, and my cousins funeral. That being said the United States Grand Prix was a rip-roaring good time, even though Ferrari came in 3rd and 4th. I bear the sunburns to prove it. I'll have the pics up once they are developed. Again please keep the Morgenroths in your prayers as they heal during this difficult time.
More news, I found the best reason to go to Italy, if not for the cars, food, culture, weather, history etc... Her name is Monica Bellucci, an Italian actress, known as Mary Magdalene in the Passion. Probably the hottest thing this side of the sun. My Lord. Thats about all I can say. I fully intend to move to Italy, marry her, and make lot's of babies. Yay for baby-making and yay for gorgeous Italians.

My Skin, Ferrari Red

This years United States Grand Prix is already shaping up to be a rip roaring good time. Ferrari and McLaren are neck-and-neck in both the drivers and constructors championships. Not only that, but it's supposed to be a sunny 90 degrees tomorrow at practice. Hopefully I'll be there to enjoy it. I'll explain later.
As it is, the weather was very warm today at the Pit-Lane Walkthrough. We only spent about four and a half hours at the speedway and already my skin is taking on a burnt-red tone. Luckily it doesn't hurt, yet. It was nice, there was a crowd in front of Ferrari, as usual. We were able to get pretty up close to the Scuderia Toro Rosso (driven by Scott Speed and Vitantonio Liuzzi). Got some good pictures of the car. Also I finally got to drive F1 on the Ps3. It made me happy. Also the Ferrari guys seem pretty confident, hopefully we'll pull out a win here and Ferrari's Indianapolis dominance will continue. I love that stadium full of people in Ferrari red. Hopefully practice tomorrow will go well for Ferrari, and hopefully both McLaren's engines will explode.
Ok so heres the deal. My cousin, John Morgenroth, died yesterday, June 13th. He was 18 years old and graduated high school two weeks ago. Being in Indianapolis and having invested alot in this we can't just up and leave, however we can't blind ourselves to what happened. The wake is tomorrow and funeral is Saturday. So unfortunately I feel we're going to have to choose our battles on this one. Please keep John and his family in your prayers, especially his sister who was on a mission trip in Atlanta, GA and had to make an emergency return home. It came as a shock to all of us.

Ahhhh, I love how this all suddenly becomes objective. Why shouldn't the Koreans eat dogs if they so wish? They are farmed in better conditions than a lot of meat from the USA and Europe. Korea is a totally different culture to the West and do not view dogs in the same way that you do. That does not make the fact that they eat dogs wrong. Dogs are considered livestock in Korea, not pets. Look beyond your own idea of what a dog is before you start this sort of nonsense. Honestly, I don't think most Americans / people around the world are shocked by the fact that they eat dogs in Korea becase they understand that it is culturally different to the West.

You see it very black and white? So, essentially, what you see is that animals are the equals of humans? That's not even insane, it's just stupid. Do you not realise just how obtuse the suggestion that if one eats one sort of meat one should eat it all is? Many people I know eat what they can / could kill themselves. Thankfully, most of those people I know wouldn't be able to kill a human. I don't know about you, but I'm thankful for that.

Ferrari FXX: Most bad-ass car ever?

Well I have'nt done a proper review of a car since a long time ago, so I thought I would now, so I give you the Ferrari FXX:

The Ferrari FXX is probably one of the fastest cars on the planet, in all respects. Some of the more astute readers might notice the striking resemblance to the Enzo Ferrari, this is due to the fact that the FXX is what happens when you find that your 660 horsepower Enzo is just a little underpowered, and if you think that, you probably should have your head examined. To put this in perspective, a regular V6 Honda Accord has 250 horsepower and top speed of about 135 mph and accelerates from 0-60mph right about 7 seconds; the Enzo, ultimate predecessor to the FXX, with it's top speed of 220 mph accelerates 0-60 at 3.2 seconds. So the FXX, being a "mega-Enzo", is ultimately capable beating the Enzo, and even tie the Bugatti Veryon (fastest road car @253 mph). However the FXX is not street-legal. Damn. The FXX is sort of a customer race-car. Only 22 were made, and only 22 exist obviously. One of these two-million dollar beauties was given to the 7 time Formula One World Champion: Michael Schumacher. I pictured his car because it is truly one of a kind, the only one with the all black paint and interior. His initials/trademark are even painted into the door (visible when door is opened). Once you heard about this car they were all sold out, this is due to the fact that Ferrari themselves called 21 very special clients and asked them to participate in the venture. The cars are only driven at Ferrari sanctioned track days on certain racetracks, so not only do you have to drop $2mil, you have to fly to the racetracks to drive it. Ferrari did all this so it gather racing data and figures so they can make even more spectacular cars in the future.

So here's the stats on this Italian beast:800+ horsepower (again the Enzo "only" had 660)
0-60MPH- Less than 3 seconds
Top Speed (?)- Guessing above 235mph, possibly way over
Formula One Transmission means the car can shift gears in less then 100miliseconds

The Verdict: It's probably one of the more controversial styles to come from Maranello, however there's beauty in the fact that every single piece serves a single purpose, to go faster and quicker then everything else, which gives the car it's own inherent beauty. The fact that it's ultra-rare, ultra-fast, and ultra-badass make the car completely awesome. That and the fact it's a Ferrari.
Notice that the brakes are glowing from the heat^^

Party Party! Join Us Join Us!

The more I clean my room the more cluttered it seems to be. It's a rather unfortunate state of affairs. Also the aforementioned blogged computer seems to have fixed itself. That thing really IS possessed by the devil, but I've known that since that time I said "I want to play Sims" and I made it back to the computer room the game had started itself. Anyway onto things. People seem to have developed a habit of not informing me of stuff thats going on, aka not really making the effort to ask if I want to go to their social gatherings or not. I hate being an afterthought, but being an afterthought is better then not being thought of at all and thus not invited to anything, which seems to be becoming more common. I guess I'm just being a baby oh well. Since that probably won't change I'm going to involve myself more with work, cars, and ShinChan.

I like pillows, and hate my parents computer.

So in a vain attempt to do something nice for my parents I spent the better part of four hours maintaining their computer. I updated much of their programs, put a better virus-scan on , and I even went so far as to take off the cover and get all the dust out with compressed air! I spent $6 on that damn can of compressed air! And how does their comp reward me? By stopping everything after the first 5 minutes of being on! It even stops updating the time! WHAT THE HELL!?!? I WILL NEVER EVER LET ANYONE I KNOW BUY A SONY VAIO! That thing has been nothing but a pain for a very long time! Even after uninstalling my stuff one I got my own computer it still is missing 2/3 of its hard-drive space! I just want to reformat the damn thing. So moral of the story? There are actually two, 1- When your computer starts acting up the day after you get it, promptly throw it from a high window, you'll be glad you did. 2- Buy an Alienware, best computers on the market, worth the price by a long shot. They will NEVER let you down! NEVER!

A Birthday, Anime Convention, and Hot Lulu's

As you may or may not know Friday was my birthday, and if you fall into the latter category please make yourself useful and die. Anyway it was fun a bunch of friends showed up at outback to give me well wishes. It was nice of them, aired some dirty laundry and kind of feel like I betrayed some of them, oh well hopefully they don't feel that way. As you may know, once again, I didn't receive a certain Hi-Def gaming system for my Bday, so I'm going to bite the bullet and buy one myself so I can watch blu-ray movies on it and play F1. Acen was loads of fun, I bought a rather sweet looking rapier. It's pretty standing next to my lightsaber and Egyptian dagger. There were many artists, but not a lot of InuYasha related ones, unlike last year where I spent a small fortune on InuYasha art. A few independent/original artists had some really cool stuff, but spending the majority of money on the aforementioned sword I couldn't give them much money. Everybody was remarkably friendly and fun to talk to, I highly recommend the convention to anyone interested in Japanese art, hot girls in LuLu outfits (FFX chick, could'nt find her for a pic sadly) , anime/manga, or even video games, lot's of stuff to do there. The only downside was the overpriced food, but that's at every public gathering nowadays. Next I want to go to Celebration IV (the 30th anniversary StarWars bash) looks amazing. Heres the info, hit it up if you can: http://www.starwars.com/community/event/celebration/

FINALS!! DUNN Dunnn dunnnnn

Yes thats right. It's the time of the year that every student dreads. Not only that, but this particular student is going through a fair amount of gastrointestinal pain. Wow, I actually spelled that right the 1st time. So I'm sitting here hunched over, head laying on the corner of the desk, typing a blog. Interesting some might say, perhaps others might call it queer, but what do YOU call it?!? I wish i could put in some movies to help me study. Perhaps later, but I hurt so I won't. I'll watch InuYasha later, or Casino Royale, or both....at the same time....

Pastel Rings And A California Backlot

It has just been brought to my attention that we are going back to the moon. Sweet deal. Hopefully we'll set up a colony, and it shall be called Moon Unit Alpha and Moon Unit Zappa. Also along those lines, they hope to use info/tech gained from that to land us on mars. I hope it happens soon! That'd be sweet. Anyway onto things. Im rather worried about my impending finals. At least I'll be done next thursday. Looking forward to a break and ACEN. Great fun that will be. Yay InuYasha stuff. :) Hopefully I'll get to see girls in skimpy anime costumes, cuz that sounds like everything I want to be a part of. So at this moment I'm going to go vegj-out to the sweet sounds of Blaqk Audio. Mars Bitches!!

String Bikinis, A Playstation, And A Bottle of Wine

Yet another Saturday night spent alone. I feel I am quite doomed to a fate of lonely boredom. Oh well. A rolling stone gathers no moss. Don't know what that has to do with anything, but w/e. I've been sitting here for what seems an eternity playing driving missions on gran turismo. Oh PS3, how I pine for thee, and thy formula one goodness. I kind of want to go out, but I have no one to go with nor do I have an idea of where I would go. So instead I shall sit in here, and enjoy the last remaining glass of Italian wine. The wine isn't terribly good. In fact it's quite bad by Italian standards. Last I checked, wine isn't supposed to fizz. Oh well thats what you get for eight-dollars. Well what to do. I believe I might just watch Phantom of the Opera or something. BUMMM BUM BUM BUM BUMMMMMMM

In Shadows Growing Wings

I remain, I don't know. Been sitting here, playin my grandmas guitar, I'm trying to learn Danny Boy so I can play it for her. It will be nice as I'll always have something of hers close, let alone something cool like a 50 year old guitar. There is a rather odd movie with Angelina Jolie movie on. Lot's of yelling. I'm kind of bored. It happens increasingly often. I should stop sitting at the computer. I feel compelled to do something interesting, but weird, contrary to expectations. Maybe put on some eyeshadow and go around screaming "I'm a jelly dough nut! I'm a jelly dough nut!" That might do more harm then good. Perhaps I'll just go...do...things...like watch a movie or eat food. Or both. I do hate these boredoms with no inclinations to do anything in particular.

Whats That Smell? 6 AM on a Sunday Morn.

Yes it's exactly as it sounds. I woke up this morning at 6AM to watch the 2nd F1 race of the season, the Bahrain Grand Prix (out in the middle east). In all it was a good race, fairly uneventful by Formula One standards, but it ended right. Ferrari won from pole position, driven by Felipe Massa, and the Ferrari driven by Kimi Raikonnen took third. Lewis Hamilton (McLaren Mercedes)became the first person in F1 history to take podium in all three of his first three races. A pretty stout achievement. He's no Michael Schumacher though. I was, however, greatly disappointed at the lack of hot water in my shower this morning. You'd think that at 8:30 you would be able to get hot water. You'd think that, wouldn't you. Anyhow, i'm going to be spending the day in danville, away from here. So call if you need something, or something.

Im There...The Phantom Of The Opera

Hey all. How is everything. Life sux. I hate math class. Constrew as you will, but it seems the PS3 is going to be harder to attain then I once thought. On a brighter note I am glad I can play several neato songs on le guitarra. One of which is the video directly below. However it's just begging for a solo at the end. Also hopefully i can sing better then him, and actually manage a solo once i get a guitar that has more pick-ups so the tapping is louder. Oh well. Im going to go busy myself.

Dreams really do come true! Sort of.

So for Easter, my parents decided to torment me. They got me the PS3 F1 game, which as you know, I've been in love with since it came out, and I've yet to play it. Their idea was as follows, "Now you have the game as motivation, because if you get a D in any class, you'll have to sit and look at the game and never play it, for in that instance, you will NOT be getting a Ps3." And I told them that was cruel etc. etc. On a lighter note, they did get me entrance into the Despair Faction (AFI's fan club). I've also picked up the guitar again. I've learned a fair chunk of miss murder. However girls not grey is killing me. How anyone plays different notes on all six strings at the same time eludes me. It's like....I've only got 5 fingers man! Only 4 of which are on the fret board at any one time! So maybe I'll try some GnR and then come back to it. Here's just the first few bars of Girls Not Grey. Hopefully you shall understand my dilemma. So it's actually only on 6 strings, don't know why it's messing up, but it is. IF it bothers you that much, download the tabs yourself!

Hey All...

Hey everyone, in commemoration of the Triduum I watched the Passion then proceeded to go to confession and adoration. It's good Lent thus far. Vastly looking forward to Easter Sunday. Don't really know what I'll be getting. Don't really care. It will be nice just to see friends and family again. Many of which I have not seen since Christmas Break. So I don't know what I'll be up to but give me a call, I should be available tomorrow (Friday) evening. Sunday I won't be able to do anything, for obvious reasons. I just look forward to catching up with everyone.

Behind The Crimson Door

I hate nasty weather. The grounds outside the dorm have been turned into a floodplain. It was hailing a moment ago, and for a while I felt that Raging Torrents Of Water was about to incarnate itself outside my room. Hopefully the hail didn't re-mess up my car. In which case I will be thoroughly pissed. Apparently it's supposed to get rather cold this week. How unfortunate. Stupidspringwaitingformetogetridofcoatsbeforeitgetscold. If you can get all that congratulations. If someone will remind me to go to confession tomorrow I would greatly appreciate it. You know the digits.

In beauty, you find destruction

I am feeling particularly maniacal and power-hungry this evening, so...yeah. I don't have access to H-bombs, nor do I have a military at my disposal. So if i get especially rambunctious this week sometime, I'll make a myspace for my First Planetary Empire. You all would find that my system of rule and government would work far better then the current systems. My new empire would secure a safe and peaceful society. Oh well. Perhaps by the end of the evening my megalomania will subside, but until then, I plot.

Let Us Twist Another Fairy Tale

So, as I sit here, looking out the window, I realize how tired I am. Staying up til 2AM to work on a paper then waking up at 8AM the same morning is not a fun time. I am less than inclined to go to my 1PM class today. So I don't think I will, I shall sleep instead. I'm finally going home this weekend. It's been quite a while. I think I'll spend Saturday tending to my vehicles, God willing, I'll get my Fiat this weekend. Hopefully I'll be getting the Ps3 on Easter, but I doubt it ever so seriously. I just want to play F1 dammit! I need food. I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello.

This made me laugh, the only reason I want to see this movie:

It's In The Blood, It's In The Blood

I was stumbling about the internet in my usual fashion, checking the usuals, updating the necessaries, you know, that old jazz. And as I surfed youtube I found a video. You all have know idea how excited this particular video made me. It made me... well...very excited. It's great, and good musical timing on it no less. It also consists of one of the most looked forward to video games in a very long time. Unfortunately though I must speak of my days ramblings. After reading a rather humorous blog from none other then AFI front man Davey Havok about the urchins known as children I realized that what started as a beautiful day has turned cloudy and drear. Oh well, c 'est la vie. Anyway now for that video:

A Japanese Poetry Thingymadibber

In a vain attempt to keep me occupied, I feel compelled to write. Yet I do not know what. So I think I shall try my hand at something new, perhaps a haiku. But First, let me ramble on about my days dealings. Nothing of import. The cherry trees are in blossom, it's very pretty. I want one, yet my parents refuse. crazyparentsrefusingmeshrubberies, i find that very rude. So lets continue, it's been horridly muggy outside, but the inside is finally starting to level out, so I might be able to sleep. Anyway, now for that haiku:

Silly Things Cause The Deepest Thoughts

So here I am. Again. At my computer. Feeling rather hungry. As I was surfing the net, as I usually do to help pass time before something interesting happens, and I stumbled upon this "what type of nerd are you" quiz. And by an overwhelming proportion, I was classified as a "Drama Nerd." And this made me think, "What does this mean? Am I pursuing the wrong course of life, or perhaps, I should look into a more active hobby in the live arts?" So I considered this a moment, going over what would necessitate a hobby in the arts; 1.talent: I'm an ok singer, but nothing special, I usually keep it to myself. 2. Ability/Motivation: it has long been known I am one for writing, but I lack the motivation to pursue anything in it,more of a passing fancy at times. So for now I've decided to leave it where it stands, and go on with life. Stupid quizzes. They make me think. It hurts.

What Be Your Nerd Type?

You sure do love the spotlight and probably have a very out-going and loud personality. Or not. That's just a stereotype, of course. Participation in the theatre is something to be very proud of. Whether you have a great voice for musicals, or astounding skills for dramas/comedies; keep up the good work. We need more entertainment these days that isn't television and video games (not that these things are bad, necessarily.)

Damn Conveniant Hair

Well it's a saturday afternoon, what better way then to celebrate my free time then watching children sacrificing themselves in order to save the other children who are going to meet their eventual doom as well. Jk, it's just the fourth InuYasha movie. After a night of trying to locate a decent party (to no avail) I find no better way then to relax then watching a movie I love and just lay back. It's sunny out so later I'd love to go out and throw the frisbee around, so yeah. I need food. But what to get...Pizza sounds nice, i need delivery though. Poo. Maybe I'll walk to wal-mart to give me something to do. Yeah that sounds good.javascript:void(0)

Mine Is The Path Of Supreme Conquest

Well in efforts to further postpone studying for a math quiz of questionable proportions, I have decided to watch one of my favorite things aka InuYasha. Great story, great anime, although certain people within my particular group of friends would beg to differ, I like the story, the characters, the art, the music, and the fun..ness of it. The more I describe the more this studying seems to evaporate from my list of things to do. I like it. Its rather unfortunate weather outside today. It darkens one's door like...well...I'm out of metaphors. I suppose that's how it works. Dum de dum, wasting time. (tear drop forms on back of my head) I hate math. It hurts me so.

All Mixed Up

Don't know what to do. It's like 75 outside, and I came to the decision to wear shorts, but the answer to whether or not to wear a sweatshirt eludes me. On another note, the very popular "SmartCar" is making it's USA debut in 2008. For this I am very excited. I saw loads of these while in Italy, and they are probably the coolest little things for puttin around town in. They only have a 3Cyl engine so don't expect to take it on the interstate, but for big cities it's perfect. It's designed so you can park it sideways in a parallel parking spot, so no more parallel parking hassle! Woot. That and the fact it's friggin awesome.

So just got this blogger. I feel like I've sold my soul to the net. Maybe I have, maybe I haven't. So to cheer me up, I'm posting a pic of my current Italian car, 1982 Fiat X1/9. Yes it's small, no it's not terribly fast, and yes...it's incredibly fun to drive.
